A Summer School on Water Diplomacy for young researchers from Central Asia was held in Tashkent from 5 to 16 August 2024. The event was organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ HWCA project and held with the support of the SDC Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia jointly with the NRI Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Melioration Engineers, the Diplomatic Academy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the Kazakh-German University and other leading educational institutions in the region.

The speakers of the Summer School were leading European and Central Asian scholars and practitioners. The Summer School was attended by 19 young researchers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, representing various academic and diplomatic institutions. At the Summer School, participants received both theoretical and practical knowledge on water diplomacy. Upon the Summer School completion, all participants received Certificates.
